Once college roomies. Forever pals. I've been through a lot with these three, and we're still going strong.
It was great to get outside and photograph the Adams kids. The shoot was actually a Christmas gift from a Husband to his wife, and I like to think it's a gift that will last.
In July, I started working on the album artwork for a talented local artist named Samantha Gaton. The shoot itself was serendipitous, with fog rolling in at the perfect moment to help create the ethereal feel that we were trying to create. Below is the final album artwork as well as an iteration using a different editing style.
It's clear the Emilyrose and Stephen are taking on the new job of parenting with patience, ease and grace. Congrats on little Isabelle, Layne Family!
Last year, I photographed a Lexington, South Carolina country trio called "MC3." The original project was for album artwork, and this shoot was to update the images in the album and for social media. Lauren, Kathryn, and Robert are siblings, and it has been neat to see how they have matured musically in the course of 11 months. I'm excited to see where music takes them in the future!
These national parks are just as phenomenal as everyone says. From the Grand Canyon, to Zion and Bryce, each park has its own uniquely beautiful characteristics.
The Barlow girls have a life and a joy to them that somehow manages to always seep out and make me laugh. It's probably the Irish in their blood. We traveled to the North Carolina high country on Saturday to go to a rock and mineral convention of sorts. Somehow people of all walks of life and culture find themselves in the middle of this little mountain town, this time congregating under the sun-bleached tents to find solace from the rain.
