It was great to have the opportunity to photograph a wedding last weekend for Karen and Jay!
The wedding was at a nearby church, and the couple photos were taken all around Main Street in downtown Columbia.
This was my first time visiting NYC, and it was beautiful. Not in the scenic wilderness way that I'm used to, but in the lively, diverse sort of way.
Grayson Highlands State Park is one of my favorite places in the world.
I remember first visiting about 10 years ago, when I was 17 years old. The landscape is beautiful (lush, rolling green hills and rocky ledges), but that's not even the best part. Roaming around these mountains is a herd of about 100 feral ponies that thrives off of the land.
Once college roomies. Forever pals. I've been through a lot with these three, and we're still going strong.
It was great to get outside and photograph the Adams kids. The shoot was actually a Christmas gift from a Husband to his wife, and I like to think it's a gift that will last.
In July, I started working on the album artwork for a talented local artist named Samantha Gaton. The shoot itself was serendipitous, with fog rolling in at the perfect moment to help create the ethereal feel that we were trying to create. Below is the final album artwork as well as an iteration using a different editing style.
It's clear the Emilyrose and Stephen are taking on the new job of parenting with patience, ease and grace. Congrats on little Isabelle, Layne Family!
